26 Nominated For Interim President

Interviews for Interim President Begin

November 28, 2006

Dear campus community members and alumni,

On November 20, the Interim Presidential Selection Advisory Committee
(IPSAC) contacted by email the people who were nominated for
consideration for the interim president position.

By November 27, 26 people had been nominated and 13 had submitted
applications for the position of interim president.  Applicants have
been informed that the interim president should not expect to be a
candidate for the permanent president’s position.

On November 28, IPSAC reviewed the application materials and selected
candidates for follow up interviews by videophone on November 29 and
30.

IPSAC wishes to thank the campus community and alumni for sending so
many thoughtful interview questions.  While we can select only a few
questions for the IPSAC interviews, all of the questions have been sent
to Board Chair Pamela Holmes for the Board’s information so that they
are aware of campus and alumni concerns.

On December 1, IPSAC will notify 3 to 5 candidates that they have been
selected for interviews with the Board of Trustees on December 9th.

Sincere regards,

Jane Dillehay, Ph.D.
Chair, IPSAC

Yes, 26 were nominated but 13 submitted applications. This means only the ones who submitted applications will be considered, right?

  2. W. David Samuelsen Says:

    Yes.
