Welcome to Insane World of Misha
Hello, everyone!
I’m Misha. This is my very first blog. I’m planning on putting up Vlog as well if I know how to embed it in here.
Let me tell you little bit about me.
I was born profound deaf. Attended Oral School for the Deaf from age of 2 till 17. I learned ASL in early teens after the years of using “homemade” signs which were forbidden at my oral school.
I’m married to a wonderful deaf man with lot of sense of humor with three hearing children.
I plan to tell you about my life on vlogs eventually. Not all of them, mind you because I’d love to have some healthy discussions with other bloggers and vloggers on any issue that pertains Deaf life, culture, education, etc.
Hope you’ll visit my blog/vlog in near future since I’m trying to figure out what I’m doing. If anybody is willing to teach me how to put vlog up here as well, I’d love to learn.

To start off, I will just comment in English on how to subscribe to DR. Then I will v-comment on how to embed video after I figure it out for this type of blog
. This blog IS NOT the same as the old blog type I used before I moved over here.
Anyway, first things first, haha. Go to deafread.com.
Look at the right side.
Find “Submit a Blog”.
Click it.
Fill out the form there. Be sure to click the box saying you are older than 18 years old.
Click “Submit”.
Wait. It took my new blog about 5 to 10 hours before my first blog entry appears at DR. Human Editor will first add your blog to DR feed subscription (don’t ask, haha) THEN they will decide to put you in frontpage or in Extra section. Whatever section it is you will see your entry and it is it!
You are in DEAFREAD community!
Wait for my comment later on how to embed basic video host like YouTube. Don’t worry overmuch about other video hosts till you become more expert with your computer, blog, and video hosts later on.
Cool…
I just emailed you so we can discuss more further from there on however you can still post the comment here if you like.

Hi Misha!
I rarely ever say “welcome” to new people but I’m impressed with your first post, so I must say welcome!!
Now I’m even more curious about your experience at oral school for the deaf for 15 years where they did not allow signs of course if you won’t mind to share that part.
I look forward to your posts!

Hey, SG,
Great to see you here. I’m pleased to be surprised that you stopped by here to check this out.
Yes, I’m going tell everyone my story and experience at Oral School for the Deaf up in Connecticut which had since closed in 1980, three years after I graduated.

Hey, Misha, I tried to webcam-comment but it said “Error on Page” so can you contact Tayler at your best time later and ask him about it? Other than that, welcome!
Add webcam is not working? Wow, ok, I’ve already contacted Tayler about other issues and never heard from him which I can understand how busy he is. But I’ll contact him about the webcam comment issue.
Thanks, Oscar…
