fyi, the roster of the YLC will illustrate how vital ylc served in strengthening the deaf community from last 30 years of the 20th century. If historians would look thru the rosters of YLC, Gally, NAD, and others, they would make the connections to show how hard work Turk and Company did and it paid off.
Your post showed how the deaf young adults were trained by Turk and Co. and excelled. You were a kid! I missed you at YLC by one year - as staff ‘83.

Whoah, David!
What a nice pair of legs! That short shorts! That took me back to 70’s when we wore the short shorts, especially in the basketball games! Ahh….old days! But right now we may not want to get caught dead in that short shorts, LOL!
Anyway, back to this subject, that sounds like you had a wonderful experience at Youth Leadership Camp. I wish I knew about that, so I would have gone there.

Yes CK,
Many young students from all over US experienced empowerment and leadership during the month at YLC. Yes, Frank Turk and Co. awesome!
Ladies,
It is not about my legs. It is about fashion during that time.
