  1. Sunny Smith Says:

Greetings! My name is Sunny Smith and I am the Marketing Manager of BarZ Adventures, the makers of the GPS Ranger multimedia tour guide device. We are so glad you enjoyed the new Historic Philadelphia GPS Ranger tour in ASL! We ran across your vlog and wanted to follow-up with some additional information about our tour guides.

We are now offering tours in American Sign Language as part of our partnership with CSD (Communication Service for the Deaf), as they help us create the ASL tour version footage for our GPS Ranger device and systems. Philadelphia is our first major venue to offer an ASL tour version (there is also an ASL GPS Ranger tour in Austin, Tx - a historic walking tour of downtown).

We would like to expand these ASL tours across the United States to all National Parks, zoos, theme parks and other destinations. We encourage you and all of your readers to contact attractions, venues, parks & zoos, and let them know that this technology exists and that you would like to see it incorporated into their tour offerings. Encourage your favorite destinations to get a GPS Ranger ASL tour. If venues want them, we can build them! We would like to see accessibility to interpretive content and tours expanded to all visitors. We need your help in spreading the news about the GPS Ranger technology and how it can increase accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing through the use of ASL video tours!

If you would like to learn more about the GPS Ranger tour guide system, you can visit us at http://www.gpsranger.com. Thank you.
