Terry Gregersen
qualifications?? dorm counselor, California School for the Deaf, Riverside and director for a mainstreaming program in Seattle, WA (he came from a deaf family of brothers, oral education background), currently UNemployed (schools aren’t out YET but unemployed)
Patty Togioka
qualifications?? currently a principal of a middle school in Salem Oregon area, but taking big cut in pay to take this position? Husband was teacher at OSD, but now teaching in one of middle schools teaching math. (PS, I am waiting for verification that it is her.)
Does this look anything like ODE doing meddling and screening to force the interview team to accept Patty Togioka when Mulholland is still available? I had been informed she applied for this position with encouragement from the Deaf community. (Did she?) Did ODE go shopping around for undesirable candidates? Doesn’t this look like similiar to what IKJ did with his protege?
Correction: Gregersen was NOT a dorm counselor; he was the Director of Instruction at CSDR.

This is response to #1, thank you for clearing it up. I had info from another source.
Here’s the kicker - from the interview team - Terry Gregersen has only teacher certificate, nothing further and is not qualified to have ADM certificate.
Care to explain why he was dismissed in first place from CSDR-Riverside if he had better job prior to CSDR position (as program coordinator up in Tacoma, Washington)?
