yesterday I called Steven Carter at the Oregonian and had about a 30 minute conversation with him about his article. I told him that the information given him by ODE was a rehash of yesterdays news. I told him that Jane had IMMEDIATELY dealt with all these issues the INSTANT she was aware of them. I told him that this story was an attempt to not only discredit Jane but OSD too. I told him I found it amazing that both Susan Castillo and Ed Dennis could promote such a campaign of SLANDER and DIS INFORMATION. I told him that this can lead to only one conclusion . .this is the beginning of their attempt to close both school and sell the HIGHLY PRIZED property upon which each school is located. By the way Jane will be joining the picket line today!!! As always Thank You for your tireless work on this effort.
