One Response to “What going on with Russia’s Ship?”

Well, U.S. always say that they did the right thing with Iraq and Afghanistan. Is Russia not allowed doing its own stuff? What Russia does near Venezuela is kind of to say “Back off, U.S.” I don’t know what the president of Georgia were thinking by attacking South Ossetia. Maybe he was to confident and thought that Nato would help it out. If Georgia had been a Nato member, Nato including Europe and U.S. had to help out which would have worsen the situation. I’m sure U.S. are glad not to have to face Russia. Truth to be told, Russia gave Russian passports to South Ossetians. This is equivalent to when a foreign country, say China, comes into this country and give Chinese passports to people here. Not right to do, right? But Russians think they did the right thing. Other point to comment is that Russia has waited long until Georgia attacked South Ossetia so that it has reason for counter attack. I think it was the right thing for Russians to enter South Ossetia to clear the situation but it was a wrong move for them to enter Georgia. Why did the world not cry out? Because Russia knows that U.S. is too weak to face Russia. As for Georgia, U.S. are not interested in Georgians nor does Russia care for them either. The only thing they are interested is oil from Azerbaijan. There is an oil pipeline from this country that goes through Georgia without touching Iran and Russia. The oil can be delivered through Turkey to Europe and U.S.

What happens right now between Russia and U.S. is a power game. Anything else doesn’t matter. My suggestion to U.S. is not to play world police too often.
