Hey there. Agreed. Often I need ASL interpretations from a Deaf person to comprehend something that often is simple in itself, but was complicated through translations.
Yeah, I had trouble with interpreters who are not fluent in ASL in high school and colleges/universties. I worked and studied double, maybe more than double to have a better grade in classes. Thanks for telling us.
Smile, I second it. I was in deaf school with total communication… tsk tsk plus deaf college same problem. It was best for me to meet with deaf group and discuss what we learned in ASL during night time. Yes, it consumed my time but that was my advantage for getting my courses passed. So ASL is my best friend because “we” understand better, ha!
Sorry, I’m behind with your news; I just found this website yesterday and I think I like this… it’s simple and clean!

Hi,
welcome back, smile.
Yeah, I understand what you are making a point on the natural language has to be understood without any support like SEE or any interpreting.
I am one of those group that have hard time understanding the interpretings, too!
Thanks for mentioning this! deafk
