Angry Deaf Man is back. Not writing in months is good news. He hasn’t been angry lately. However finding this disappointing comment on his blog, he is angry.
Well if Evolution was in play in todays world as it should be, it should be survival of the fittest, meaning that if you’re deaf you should have been eaten by a lion that you couldn’t hear coming at an early age and then we wouldn’t have to pretend that we care. If God wanted you to be able to use the phone, communicate with the rest of the world, then you’d be able to hear like the rest of us. I’m sick of rude deaf people who get pissed at the world and treat hearing people like shit, this is reverse discrimination. I have never mistreated a deaf person but why would a hearing person that knows no sign language want to talk to someone who makes gestures and retarded noises? Speaking directly to the hearing friend only makes sense, the hearing person you’re trying to communicate is uncomfortable with you and doesn’t care unless they have to because of their job and they have no choice. In my opinion, you should have been hit by a bus you couldn’t hear coming a long time ago, you are an Evolutionary blip, a mistake, an unfit set of characteristics that are supposed to be ELIMINATED by Evolution and survival of the fittest. Kiss my ass!
The commenter is obviously a dumbass. Wait until he gets old. Sick. Wait until he has children, or knows someone who does, that isn’t “the fittest”. Be careful of what you say; things have a way of coming back.
The commenter doesn’t think. We have eyes we use to avoid a bus–most likely driven by a dumbass hearing person who isn’t paying attention. Hearing people have ears and eyes and they still get hit?! Talk about a mistake!
Hearing a lion wouldn’t have helped either. Outrunning a lion is, for anyone, a little tad difficult to do. For the commenter only, I’d be willing to put you up against a lion in a race. I won’t say whether the lion is well-fed or hungry.

Geez, that’s bad. Obviously this commentor is biased against deaf people and that he lacks an understanding at all of the issue of deafness or disability. Who is this commentor and where did you find this comment?
Gawd… was ready to have a nice and quiet evening, now this!!! Well, I’ve maintained that there are really only two views of Deaf people-
1) we are an aberration, and we need to be fixed one way or another,
2) we are on Earth for a reason and we ARE part of humanity.
That “kiss my ass” post is a perfect example of the #1 viewpoint. To him/her, we should and need to be wiped out. Shut us up for once and all. No more yapping about audism.
Fat chance. We were here when dinosaurs walked the earth, and we’ll be still here long after the last glacier melts away.

And, as for “reverse discrimination”, well- Greg Hlibok, Esq., explained to us here in California that discrimination laws were enacted to protect those who have ALREADY been discriminated against.
Yet, we jump every time an audist accuses us of “reverse discrimination”. This should be taken with a grain of salt, because, really, in the Deaf-related employment field (education, social services, etc., etc.), hearing people haven’t been discriminated one iota- they keep getting promoted over Deaf people’s backs, because of some vague “qualifications” they possess over us.
Most people would ignore him,and if they posted like that on any forum or blog it gets deleted.
They just want to get a reaction from you and if they don’t they move onto next victim

Perhaps this individual had some bad experiences with deaf people? I am deaf and I have had some bad expierences with deaf AND hearing people but I don’t go around sterotyping either. For this reason, I have no tolerance to any “deaf-haters”, no matter how bad their expierences were. First of all, when I said that I do not stereotype hearing and deaf people, I meant I do not think that all the hearing people think negatively of all deaf people. The same goes with deaf people when it comes to hating on hearing people and the “hearing-minded†deaf. I never said anywhere on my post that I never ever stereotype. I merely said that I do not stereotype in this particular situation, that’s all. Therefore, your accusation of me for proving myself a hypocrite is invalid.
I did not mean to give you the impression that I had a “holier than thou†attitude. I do not think that I am better than anyone but I do admit to stereotyping unemployed people (adults only) living with their parents as being losers; you got a problem with that? I just have no respect for most of these people. I do think that I have a right to feel this way because I had to overcome many obstacles in my life. I became the first deaf to graduate from a certain university in two-engineering/science fields and the first deaf to get hired by a large agency in a specific field.
Anyone can get a job; you just have to put some effort into it. But since it is much easier for hearing people to get jobs, it is really pathetic to see an unemployed hearing person living with his/her parents.
Are you currently an unemployed adult living with your parents? If so, I am sorry if I offended you. If you do feel like a loser, go out and get a job.

I feel sorry for this person, what will he do when he’s old and has a hearing loss and no one will talk to him. I’ve had some really bad experiences with hearing and deaf people but I realize those are just the narrow minded hicks that don’t care about anyone so just brush it off and live my life.

It’s like most deaf people will say, “Store we go” in sign language and hearing people will transfer this, “Lets go to the store together”
I am a educated deaf young lady. English is my first language then I learned sign language in elementary school. I am nineteen year old. I am a very beautiful and poised young lady. I want you to know, things does have a way of coming back, but you should read carefully next time. Look closely how hurt he is by the world. He’s deeply hurt because he has seen deaf people that speak a different language, completely misunderstood by a popular public. Usually, deaf people tries to give the same revenge back in 21st century today.
In the past, deaf people’ve been told negative bullshit such as, “deaf and dumb” and “mute” etc. Older people have tried to make us feel like we’re the low society, but we are not. Hearing people didn’t realize mute actually mean no noises. Apparently some aggorant fuckers thought we cannot make noises, but they’re obviously mistaken.
The commenter does think, he has a different way to communicate in poor choice of word. His whole family is probably deaf which is why they did not teach him proper things we all normally learn in this fucking cruel world..
I am completely deaf. I am the only deaf woman in my family and we all use sign language to communicate with each other. I have so much regards and respect from hearing people. I was popular in high school just so you know NOT EVERY DEAF PERSON IS THE SAME..
Deaf people does have eyes. We may not hear, but we still act like human being. We fucking have feelings. What he was trying to say he think pemissts should be fucking hit by a school bus because they’re immature.

A lion is a good symbol for deaf community because it’s a different way to express our courage to speak whatever’s on our mind. You guys should respect what he IS feeling. Disabled is defined that people collectively who are crippled or otherwise physically handicapped; “technology to help the elderly and the disabled”. I dont believe I am disabled. I don’t think deaf people is disabled, hands down. I am independent. I graduated from high school with a 12th grade reading & writing level and all of that crap. I don’t need anyone else’s help.
