Hi Guys ..
“Audism” is a sad, pathetic excuse to wrongly blame other people because the National Audists of the Deaf (NAD) supports ALL forms of “audism” against its own members. I once said about a certain deaf political group that the NAD endorses, funds and funnels profits to its leaders that, “Gawrsh! No wonder the DBC sucks!” and I was instantly called an “audist” among other things.
I’m an audist and I’m proud
I used to feel alone in a crowd
But now you look around these days
And it seems there’s an audist CRAZE

Paotie,
I love the poem! You are right. Those who spend their time focusing on making accusations against others calling them audists should, instead, look to themselves and focusing on their own lives. The DBC does “suck.” They and “Audism Free America” have accomplished nothing other that to focus on and attack others. They’d be much better off focusing on what they see as the positives in their way of life because, right now, they are succeeding only in chasing hearing parents of deaf babies far away.

It is sad to have such blogs like ‘Auditory Verbal Parents’ which their resource is AGBell.
‘DBC is Here to Stay’ to rectify what 1880 Milan and AGBell have done to the Deaf Community by marginalizing visual sign language(ASL)
