Yes, Hamill was Robbed!!! Blessing Disguise?

BUT WHAT IS NEW?……..

ABGell robbed the Deaf people’s ASL by banning sign language in schools in the last 100 years.

Is it a blessing disguise that Matt Hamill was robbed? Did the judge assume that the Deaf community is too weak to speak up?

Why some weak deaf people and hearing oppressors enjoy broadcasting that the deaf leaders are “Deaf Militants and whiners” for protecting our dignity?

Are we too passive to speak up for our rights that oppressive people can easily abuse our dignity?

Yes, I was very pissed off that Matt Hamill got robbed but it could be the karma for some of the Deaf bashers thinking that the Deaf leaders should not fight for our dignity.

Stand up and be part of Deaf Human Rights Coalition group.

  1. I agree that demanding the Deaf speak is tantamount to demanding the blind must read a book, in order to be considered human.

Idiots, like the judge you mentioned, belong in an asylum - NOT on the (judge’s) bench.

  3. What a lunatic world we live in! It is very unfortunate that our society is far sicker than we have ever imagined.

AGB organization is a pure lunatic and radical organization even though they act like an establishment and respected organization. I just shake my head.

There are many like them out there. They are responsible for the mess they have caused. They belong to category of radical and extreme organizations such as KKK, Al Qaeda, Nazi and others that do not deserve any respect at all for their role in abusing human races.

I feel bad for Matt. He is victim of crooked judges.

  4. deafk,

“Hmm. what else can we do about it? should we sue this situation? What?”

    We need to be proactive!

    Proactive means;

“to act before a situation becomes a source of confrontation or crisis” vs. after the fact. It is frequently misused to mean simply “active” the opposite of passive.

AGBell got the whole world to regard deaf people having no dignity to speak for their rights.

AGBell and AVT told the world that ASL is a no, no for Deaf Babies but OK for hearing babies.

  6. deafk,

I hear that there will be a rally in Denver, Colorado on Sept 28th and 29th at AGBell/AVT conference.

AGBell/AVT are against sign language for Deaf babies while hearing babies all over the country are learning sign language starting at the age between 4 to 6 months.

DBC and Colorado are concerned that Deaf babies should have the have opportunity as hearing babies to learn sign language.

That is a proactive rally. Act before it is too late for any Deaf babies missing out the opportunity to learn to communicate early as possible.

When the country learns more about how oppressive AGBell/AVT are about their biased ideology of banning sign language, the sooner AGBell/AVT will stop being so biased about sign language.

And also on September 29th, all over the world, the Deaf people will march from 2 to 4 pm on this special event. Please watch Deafread.com for more information about this.

  7. Yes I agree with your blog. Someone had the same complaint as a guest blogger on http://www.seekgeo.com about how deaf are ignored and when we speak up, we are looked as militants or whiners and never taken seriously.

So we are easily ignored because the society do not fear or respect us like they do with African American groups. African Americans did much more and did not care what the society thought, they had a Million Man March, riots when they were not taken seriously, protests, and even NAACP were powerful enough to get every Media involved to embarrass those who humilated the AFrican Americans. Why can’t the deaf community do the same?

  8. It is SICK that noneducated hearing individuals are learning baby signs thru “Baby Institute” off the internet and then charging a zillion bucks to teach ASL/baby signs to hearing babies/mothers.

    What a load of shit!
