An Overwhelming Response to Re-Defining D-E-A-F Movie!
Good morning everyone,
Wow! It is really unbelievable! Very unexpected!
MOS International’s website hosting “Re-Defining D-E-A-F” by Ryan Commerson received an overwhelming response within 30 hours!
Ryan informed me in this morning that his web server hosting only highest quality Flash format videos had exceeded its bandwidth limit for a MONTH!
Here are the facts:
MOS International has purchased two different web hosting servers supporting the site and video.
Purchased 100 gigabyte (GB) bandwidth server hosting his 38-minute highest quality Flash format video.
Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 2am, the website hosting the video made their first public debut online.
1,400 people from 20 countries visited the site, and over 1,100 people viewed the movie.
Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 8am, the site ‘crashed’, due to OVERWHELMING responses from the Deaf Community!
The web server host informed Commerson that 100 GB bandwidth limit had exceeded within 30 hours, after advising him that it should be enough for a month. It was recommended that the upgrade to 1,000 GB bandwidth needed to support the high demand from the online community.
The cost of purchasing the upgrade from the 100 GB bandwidth to 1,000 GB had quintupled (5 times of the cost!), and the bandwidth limit will be reset November 1st for viewing.
Other words, you may not be able to view this video until November 1, 2008!
Ryan Commerson is working very hard to make sure that everyone will have an opportunity to view his video very soon. It is encouraged that you are ready to watch the video for 38 minutes, then you can click just once. Please don’t click the movie until you are ready. That will help to manage the bandwidth flow.

Wait!
You still have the opportunity to watch the TRAILER of this video until November 1, 2008. You may need to join Facebook to view this trailer below.
Congratulations Ryan Commerson and Wayne Betts, for the most successful first public debut online!
Best,
